During the first quarter of 2024, at Grestel – Produtos Cerâmicos S.A., we achieved a significant milestone: we consumed 978 MWh of energy exclusively from renewable sources, which enabled us to avoid emitting 181 tons of CO2. This reduction is equivalent to planting 10,073 trees!
In the Costa Nova Industria Group, we harness the sun's energy using 1180 kW of solar panels. Our newest factory, Ecogres, can operate entirely on solar power during the day. The other three factories combine solar panels with other green energy sources, all sourced from renewables.
