COSTA NOVA Industria was honored with the Best Poster Award at the recent Ceramics Technical Conference, organized by the Centro Tecnológico da Cerâmica e do Vidro [Ceramic and Glass Technology Center] (CTCV). The event focused on topics such as sustainability, digitalization, artificial intelligence, circular economy, and the development of new materials, aiming to promote innovation and collaboration in the ceramics industry.
Among the posters presented by leading national companies, Grestel’s stood out, securing first place. The poster showcased solutions for decoration, defect repair, digital ink sintering, and backstamp marking using laser technology. This approach combines efficiency, precision, and sustainability, avoiding energy consumption associated with traditional kiln firing and ceramic ink application, allowing ink sintering without the need to heat the piece.
This project represents another step in Ecogres’s commitmentto sustainability and energy consumption reduction through the application of new technologies. The recognition received reaffirms the company’s role in advancing an innovative and sustainable ceramics sector.
