ECOGRES 4.0: Pioneering sustainability at the Regiostars 2024

On October 9th, Carlos Pinto and Jorge Carneiro traveled to Brussels to present the ECOGRES 4.0 project to the European Commission. This nomination was a significant achievement for us, as it brought great exposure and recognition both nationally and internationally, even without winning the top prize.

Competing alongside projects from across Europe, ECOGRES 4.0, from the COSTA NOVA Industria Group, demonstrated its value on a stage where sustainability and innovation are key pillars. As Carlos Pinto, Industrial Director, highlights: "This recognition gives us even more motivation to go further, with the clear goal of making Ecogres – Ecological Ceramics the most sustainable factory in the world."

The trip to Brussels opened doors to new opportunities across Europe, and the best is yet to come.
