Grestel was once again distinguished in the field of sustainable innovation by winning the “Novos Materiais e Produtos para a Sustentabilidade” [New Materials and Products for Sustainability] Competition on October 24, during the 2nd Cross-Border Conference of the Portuguese Engineers Association.
The award recognized Ecogres, one of the brand’s major projects that incorporates circular practices and focuses on recovering and reusing materials to create ceramic products that are more sustainable without compromising quality or design. Ecogres further stands out for its efforts to enhance energy efficiency and integrate new sustainable technologies.
